Piercing Guide
piercing-rook
The rook is located in the anti-helix, the fold of cartilage above the tragus. This area offers a unique, vertical placement that makes the jewelry stand out. Due to its location, rook piercings are known for their distinctive look and are often adorned with curved barbells or small hoops.
CLOSURE SYSTEMS
INTERNAL THREADING
Our studs feature a 19 gauge internally threaded back with signature Pamela Love heart. The smooth back allows for comfortable wear, while preventing irritation that may occur from traditional posts.

EXTERNAL THREADING
This mechanism works similar to the internal threading. This time, the threading is attached to the back (instead of the front stud). Our Gravitation Hooks feature this type of closure.
